A life that feels true

Gary Shaw, life coach and founder of Gary Shaw Life

Private life coaching for gay men who want to live with greater clarity, freedom and truth.

Life may still work on the outside. You may be capable, ambitious and moving forward. Yet something in your work, relationships or sense of direction no longer feels fully your own.

When something no longer fits

A decision
you cannot settle.

A pattern
you understand but keep repeating.

A life that works
but does not feel fully your own.

The subject may have little to do with sexuality. But the experience of adapting, editing or proving yourself can shape how you approach work, relationships, confidence and change.

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined goal. Often, seeing what is really going on is the first part of the work.

The work

See clearly.
Face what is true.
Move from there.

That is the heart of my coaching. We slow things down enough to separate what is genuinely yours from what is being driven by fear, habit or other people’s expectations. I listen carefully, ask direct questions and challenge you where needed.

There is no motivational theatre, forced positivity or formula imposed on your life. The work is calm, honest and practical. Insight matters, but only if it changes how you live.

I’m Gary Shaw.

I’m a qualified life coach, PGA Professional and founder of LGBT Golf, based in London. I graduated with Distinction from Kingstown College’s Advanced Diploma in Personal, Leadership and Executive Coaching.

On paper, those worlds may look different. To me, the essential work has always been the same: helping people see clearly, trust themselves and move without pretending to be someone else.

Coming out at 22 began more than a decade of exploring authenticity, awareness, presence and Taoist philosophy. My own relationship with ambition and achievement has also taught me the difference between building a life that looks successful and living one that feels true.

Founding LGBT Golf grew from the same belief that guides this work: people are freer to learn, change and perform when they do not have to edit who they are.

Private coaching

Private coaching begins as a focused three-month relationship, with six private 60-minute sessions usually held fortnightly, online or in person in London.

This gives us enough time to move beyond immediate insight, recognise deeper patterns and turn what emerges into sustained change.

Fee: £1,200
Payable in full or in three interest-free monthly instalments of £400.

Begin with a private 25-minute consultation: a straightforward conversation about what has brought you here, what you want to be different and whether working together feels right. There is no charge and no obligation to proceed.
